Getting started

Get to know the dashboard: overview, event mode and concierge

Where to see sales and check-ins for all your events, how to open event mode at the door and how to reach the concierge on WhatsApp.

The organizer dashboard opens on the Overview. The side menu groups everything else by topic: Events, Attendees, Marketing, Finance and Settings. This article covers three things you use every day: the overview, event mode and the concierge.

Overview

Overview is the first item in the side menu and the dashboard's home page. It brings sales, check-ins and upcoming events together in one place.

  • Filter at the top: pick All events or a single event, and the period (7 days, 30 days, 90 days or All time).
  • Summary cards: Gross revenue for the period (with the change against the previous period), Tickets sold, Check-ins and Next event. While an event is happening, the next-event card shows how many are live and takes you to event mode.
  • Cumulative sales: a chart of tickets or revenue. With one event picked in the filter, its curve is drawn next to your best-selling previous event, aligned by days before the event.
  • Events: the list of your events with status, date, tickets sold and revenue, and the View and Metrics shortcuts on each row.

If your events sell in different currencies, revenue is not added up: pick an event in the filter to see its revenue. Team members without access to the organization's metrics see only the events list.

On an account with no events yet, the overview shows the Start here card with three steps: Create your first event, Set up your public page and Connect your payout account.

Event mode

Event mode is the screen for the day of the event: dark, without the side menu, made to stay open at the door or on a screen for the production team.

In the side menu, under Attendees, click Check-in. Events happening right now or later today show the Event mode button.

You can also get there from the event: Enter event mode on the event's check-in screen, or the Event mode button at the top of a published event's page.

The screen shows how many people are in and how many are still to come, Arrivals, People per minute, progress By lot and the Latest entries. It refreshes by itself every few seconds.

To go back to the dashboard, click Exit event mode.

Counts and pace cover the whole event. The event-wide list of latest entries needs access to the event's metrics; without it, the screen shows your own scans.

Concierge on WhatsApp

The dashboard pages have a WhatsApp button in the bottom-right corner (it is hidden only in event mode). The button opens a chat with the Baila concierge, with a message already filled in. Next to it, the Talk to your concierge notice shows up and folds away by itself after a few seconds; if you close the notice, it does not come back, and the button stays.

On a new account, the Start here card also has a Talk to the concierge shortcut, so we can set up your first event together.
